Recently, I (Lana) discovered that when rearranged, the letters in my name spell torn loyal tea. I think it's cool and rather telling. Ever since, I've grown slightly convinced that much of my life consists of a tragic array of conflicted interests.

That said, I should warn you I'm one of those hopeless wrecks trying to quench an insatiable boredom. However, this isn't the means, it's simply the outlet.

For anything you'd like to know, either ask or pay attention.

Seeing everyone get acceptances letters really reinforces my belief that I’m not getting into any college anywhere at all and I’m doomed for life and I’m not sure what’ll happen but yeah. It’s this looming fear and it’s not really going to go away until I am no longer held in suspense. I want to know if I won any of the contests I entered. And I just want envelopes or emails or something.

It’s really bad that I can’t get away from the idea of college altogether—it’s all over Facebook and sometimes it’s on my dashboard and I am so paranoid about my email and whatever comes in the mail and I am so scared.

This is one of those things where everyone says, “Don’t worry, you’ll get into a school, you’ll be fine, they’ll accept you, it’s okay.”

Except not really—it’s not fine and it’s not okay and I can’t help but worry. Because no one really knows for sure. Neither do I. It’s all just wishful thinking.
